Roger Maris never put up hall of fame numbers, but will always be remembered as the man who broke Babe Ruth’s single season home run record. It was a magical summer of ’61, as the M&M boys , Mantle and Maris put on a show for fans, blasting homers. Maris was a 2x time MVP (1960,1961), 7x All Star, and 3x World Champion.
